Information collected
The general inquiry form collects your name, phone, email, preferred language, vehicle interest, timeline, and any message you choose to provide. Keep sensitive financial information out of that form.
The separate Financing Intake collects applicant and contact details, date of birth, driver license number, residence and employment details, and optional income information. Do not enter a Social Security number, Tax ID, bank account number, or payment card information anywhere on this website. Alimony, child support, and separate maintenance income need not be disclosed unless you want it considered for repayment.
How information is used
Edward Mackay uses your information to respond to your request and help with buying, selling, trading, leasing, or financing a vehicle. Financing intake information helps prepare for a dealer application. Submitting either form does not authorize a credit check or guarantee financing approval.
An unrelated broker referral requires a separate discussion and your permission before information is shared. Edward may receive a referral fee if a referred purchase is completed. Submitting a form alone does not authorize that referral.
Communications
When you check the contact consent box, you ask Edward to contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may ask Edward to stop contacting you.
Storage, retention, and choices
General inquiries are saved in the website lead area and emailed to the configured business recipient. Financing intake details use separate encrypted storage and are not emailed. Access to the financing intake viewer is restricted to authorized website administrators.
Financing intake records are scheduled for automatic deletion from the website after 90 days. General inquiry retention follows the website administrator setting. Hosting backups may follow a separate retention schedule. Information entered into a dealership system is handled under that dealership’s policies.
